Why learn about the
BIBLE?

It is the most widely translated book in human history... why?

If the Bible is God's message to humans, would it not make sense that he would want people to have access to it?

  • But how can we have confidence that the Bible really is inspired?
  • How do we know that it is without contradiction, harmonious?
  • And in this modern world, does it make sense to apply its principles in daily life?

An honest examination and study of the Bible can provide satisfying answers to these questions and more.

QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Have you ever wondered what the Bible says about these topics?

Life
What is the purpose?

Today's world will tell you that money or things can be keys to a purposeful life. But what really makes a person happy?

Jesus words provide an interesting point of consideration.  "Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need." - MATTHEW 5:3

Death
What hope for the dead?

At some point or another we all face death.  Perhaps we have lost a loved one close to us.  Where are they now? What is the hope for the dead?

The Bible provides satisfying answers to these questions.  “I have hope toward God . . . that there is going to be a resurrection.”—ACTS 24:15

Future
Will the future be better?

Many people wonder what the future will bring.  Will things get better for themselves and their loved ones?

Consider this promise: "For I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you...to vie you a future and a hope." - JEREMIAH 29:11

MY BIBLE STUDY

My name is Blake and I offer Bible study lessons online via Zoom for 15 minute, 30 minute or 1 hour sessions at a time convenient for you each week.

No Obligation

Having a personal Bible study does not obligate you to attend any religious services or to become a member of a specific religion.

An interest in considering what can be learned from the Bible is all that is required.

No Cost

Bible study lessons are provided at no cost.  I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn about the Bible for free.

We will never ask you for money or to pay for time or learning materials

Which Bible

Nearly any translation of the Bible may be used to learn. We encourage you to bring your own.

Some however are easier to read and understand than others.  I prefer a modern translation that respects the original manuscripts in its translation, which is why we recommend the New World Translation.

Course Material

A topical consideration of the Bible will allow a learner to understand the overall structure, harmony, and theme of the Bible.

I use the material found in the book Enjoy Life Forever - An Interactive Bible Course because it progressively helps a learner understand the Bible and its author, building a personal relationship with God.
